On January 1, 2011 a co-worker of mine hired me as a present to the bride and groom to take photos of their wedding day. It was a very small wedding but there was more love there than a lot of other weddings. The couple had been together a long, long time before actually getting married. It was difficult to get through the ceremony because it was all in Spanish (and I actually missed the big kiss...), but it was a beautiful wedding, I had a great time! it was Megan Kenney's turn to take some senior portraits at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA., and this time is was a nice sunny day. Once again, I had a well experienced, highly photogenic girl to work with! It was a great pleasure to hang out with and take photos of her. Still couldn't ask for a better day! For the overcast day of March 15, 2012 it was a senior portrait day at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Talk about a photogenic girl. She has been my friend for a couple of years and it was a pleasure to take a mess of gorgeous photos for her and her family, and I got a free lunch out of it, couldn't ask for a better day! On the 21st of July I got a rare opportunity to head over to Atherton, CA. to take some interesting photos for a wedding anniversary party in the bride and groom's backyard. It was elegant, wild, stunning and more intense than any party I've ever been to. There were people in amazing fashion, a mermaid (yes, a mermaid), waitresses, a DJ, amazing food, and so much more. On the 15th of December I had the chance to take some photos of the local ice rink in Walnut Creek, CA. It was rainy and terribly cold, but it was still a blast. One warm evening my good friends Marilee James and Sarah Wilkerson asked if I would take some photos of them before Marilee went to another state. Since I have known them both for so long of course I agreed. They had no idea where to take them, but I had some ideas.
