NEWS ARCHIVES 2014

Talk about a rainy day. Sometimes it was pouring, sometimes it was just plain windy, but these two really stuck it out just to get these photos for their upcoming wedding in September 2014. I know Liz personally from high school so of course I leaped at the opportunity to capture some of the love these two have because it is quite a beautiful sight. These photos came out great and I am so happy/excited to see them together and shoot their wedding in September 2014. To see the gallery click HERE, click the "GALLERY" button below, or click the photo to the left. Thanks to Liz Rhines and Dave Henry for the wonderful time in the rain!

"NEW CAMERA: 6D"

Walnut Creek Downtown Company hired me once again, this time to take some shots of downtown shots, some shots of Mt. Diablo, bikers going up Mt. Diablo, and shots of people shopping and such in downtown. It took a few months, getting the right shots, waiting for the right weather, and battling the construction downtown to get these. I hand-picked a few good ones to post in the gallery, hope you enjoy! Huge thanks to Liz Rhines (soon to be Liz Henry) ad Kathy Hemmenway for hiring me once again! I decided to put together a large collection of all of my favorite black and white photos that I have taken. It's pretty self-explanatory, but I love the drama that black and white puts into a photo. Enjoy! To see the gallery, click HERE, click the "GALLERY" button below, or click the photo to the left.

I WAS BORED AND NEEDED A NEW FACE TO TAKE SOME PHOTOS OF, SO I CALLED OUT MY GOOD FRIEND CAITLIN GAFFNEY TO COME MODEL FOR ME. SHE WAS VERY HESITANT AT FIRST, BUT SHE WAS BORN TO BE IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. I HAD A LOT OF FUN TAKING PICTURES OF HER AND TRYING TO GET HER TO LAUGH. Liz and Kathy from Walnut Creek Downtown offices in Walnut Creek City Hall asked me to expand on the shots I had already completed for the Walnut Creek Downtown website. This time, they had people/models set up for me and had arranged some restaurants/shops to be ready for us to take some shots in. I had a wonderful time getting to know some of the shop owners and the models I had along with me. These were a lot of fun to shoot. I will do my best to label the photos with the restaurants/shops names so you can all check them out! I will also post the link to their website when it's finished. Since I am actually a groomsman for Keith, they wouldn't let me shoot the actual wedding, but they did let me take their engagement photos and I am truly honored to have such amazing friends. These two give me so much hope and I am beyond happy for the life that is about to unfold next year after the wedding. A Huge thanks to Keith Allen and Sarah Wilkerson (soon to be Sarah Allen) for letting me shoot these! Last month or so I was asked to shadow a photographer for a fall fashion shoot that was going on for Walnut Creek Magazine. They liked my work, and although I didn't get any of those photos in the magazine, they asked me to shoot some photos of the owners and the inside of one of our local shops in Walnut Creek called "The Spotted Cow." It was lovely to meet Mackenzie and Mary who are mother and daughter owners of the shop. A HUGE thank you to Pam Kessler who is the publisher of Walnut Creek Magazine for helping me out and hiring me for some shots! Hopefully there are more to come! Another year in the books and another Fall Wine Walk to take photos for! Walnut Creek Downtown puts together two of these events a year, and they are a great way to get to know your wines, snacks, music, and local businesses! This one wasn't as large as the past few times, but it was still a good time! Big shout out to Kymber Starmack who was one of the musicians there with her amazing voice and accompanying guitar work! Congrats! And a huge thank you again to Liz Henry and Kathy Hemmenway for letting me come back again! to view the gallery, click HERE, click the "GALLERY" button below, or click the photo to the left.

My friend's brother C.J. Pullman asked me to come by their shop known as "Pullman Fabrication" in Walnut Creek and take some photos of his brother Nick in their brand new T-shirts that they had made, and also some photos of the vehicles they are working on. It was a blast, they had such amazing cars being worked on and it was fun just to snap a few shots of Nick in the new shirt. Enjoy! A big thanks to C.J. and Nick Pullman for helping me add to my portfolio! To view the gallery click HERE, click the "GALLERY" button below, or click the photo to the left.
